We live on 5 private fresh waterfront acres surrounded by conservation trails and land on beautiful Cape Cod. Its a doggie paradise! We had been long time breeders of the Miniature Australian Shepherd from back in the day before the AKC accepted the breed (now the MIniature American Shepherd). Our focus was to produce a friendly dog with a little less herd drive, for families of the Northeast that did not live on ranches. We never considered breeding “doodles” of any kind.
When a family relative asked me for help in selecting dogs for her labradoodle breeding program, i discovered the sweet natured Australian Labradoodle. Intrigued by the claims that they were bred for service, I acquired my first one, and was over the moon in love with his unique born in traits for focus and eye contact, and desired to share this treasure with the world.
We learned much in the way of selection and breeding on our journey, and we continue to share what we have developed in what we believe is the best dog on the planet.
In October of 2018, we became proud members of the ALCA (Australian Labradoodle Club of America) which aims to protect and preserve the temperament of the breed for service work and the original bloodlines from Australia.
